Of course, as has been mentioned, fish would have likely been abundant. I would imagine too, that Jehovah very well may have accelerated the growing and reproductive processes at the time to assure survival or he could have provided food like He did for the Israelites in the wilderness.
However it was done, Jehovah saw to it that the animals were well fed and nourished.
