Isaiah 32:3
“Then the eyes of those seeing will no longer be pasted shut,
And the ears of those hearing will pay attention”
What an interesting scripture, it says those SEEING, their eyes will no longer be pasted shut, so they already see but not clearly, they already hear but have not been paying attention.
Gods people will truly have understanding
“when Look! A king will reign for righteousness,
And princes will rule for justice.
2 And each one will be like a hiding place from the wind”
This is what the revealing of the sons of God will bring.
Romans 8:19
“For the creation is waiting with eager expectation for the revealing of the sons of God”
What has resulted in them not seeing or hearing? It’s complacency, not paying heed to the warnings.
Isaiah 32:9
“You complacent women, get up and listen to my voice!
You carefree daughters,pay attention to what I say!”
Jehovah has always referred to Israel as not seeing or hearing.
Romans 11:8
“just as it is written: “God has given them a spirit of deep sleep, eyes that do not see and ears that do not hear, down to this very day.”
Jesus also said the same thing about Israel when he tried to tell them of their coming judgement,
Luke 19:42
saying: “If you, even you, had discerned on this day the things having to do with peace—but now they have been hidden from your eyes”
Jesus wept at a distance why?
because they didn’t discern the time of their inspection, they were too blind to see.
That’s why Jehovah says at
Jeremiah 8:7
“Even the stork in the sky knows its seasons; The turtledove and the swift and the thrush keep to the time of their return. But my own people do not understand the judgment of Jehovah.”’
Isaiah 32:
“For the ground of my people will be covered with thorns and briars;
They will cover all the houses of rejoicing,
Yes, the city of exultation.
14 For the fortified tower has been forsaken;
The noisy city has been abandoned.
Oʹphelm and the watchtower have become a permanent wasteland,
A delight for wild donkeys,
A pasture for the flocks,
15 Until the spirit is poured out on us from above,
And the wilderness becomes an orchard
And the orchard is regarded as a forest”
So not until the spirit is poured out from above, will insight be truly given, that’s why spiritual blindness & deafness will continue to exist amongst Gods people down to this very day.
