Things that they do in their lives that show they aren't living up to Jehovah's standards? In my congregation, there's one sister posting about our prime minister and when she meets up with us she says how wonderful our prime minister is etc and during Christmas she posted that she wishes everyone a joyful Christmas etc. Some of our young ones (including regular pioneers) are promoting that they go see movies that are full of magic and spiritism. And we had a brother recently stay with us that put me off him for life. He makes out that he's all high and mighty and even had the cheek to pull my mum aside and tell her she won't make the new system if she keeps talking to my brothers (my brothers have been inactive for about 20+ years were never disfellowshipped or announced disassociated - I have encouraged mum to talk to the elders as it's really bothering her what he said). He said some really horrible things telling her how disobedient she is BUT it's ok for him to visit non witnesses all the time because he's trying to preach to them and get them into the truth (in our territory, they show no signs of this). He showed where his heart lies as he spent hours visiting non witness people but said he ran out of time to visit local brothers, brothers that could have done with some encouragement and would have loved to have him visit. He even went alone to a cafe with a women who he claims used to study so it's ok I can spend time with her. I'm sorry for the long post and please forgive me if I'm being judgey, I'm just starting to see people for who they are. I'm letting Jehovah deal with them but I was just wondering if anyone else has found the same? Or if I'm just being too sensitive? Thanks

Dark times ahead. The Lord Jesus said that lawlessness will abound at the last days and the love of the greater many will cool off.(Matthew 24:12)
I'm sorry for my little rant but I'm so sick of it all. My mum and I have zero support in the congregation. Our current coordinator of elders told mum we have to be obedient. "I'm fine I just had my booster". He even said some horrible things against those of us unvaxed in his comments at the meeting. It's becoming harder to actually enjoy the meetings and ministry. My support network is from my close friend in south Africa. She told me in her congregation 30 of them are all going on holiday to ... moreI'm sorry for my little rant but I'm so sick of it all. He even said some horrible things against those of us unvaxed in his comments at the meeting. It's becoming harder to actually enjoy the meetings and ministry. My support network is from my close friend in south Africa. She told me in her congregation 30 of them are all going on holiday to a country that allows unvaxed as the group of 30 are mixed and it includes elders. They support one another. I'm getting frustrated and losing respect for brothers I've known for so many years because of how they talk to us. It's so wrong. Why are they allowed to do that when other countries they don't care who's vaccinated or not and accommodate for the unvaxed. I got so upset at the meeting tonight. Why are they allowed to push their opinions onto us but we aren't allowed to have our say? I'm tired of this. I'm sorry for my rant I just don't know how much longer I can take being in my cong. My friend reminded me that we will see people for who they really are towards the end and I feel like I'm seeing that now.
I thought I would share something positive. I have just done my own personal study on Hannah, who is my favourite in the Bible for many reasons. Here's 2 things I got out of "Imitate their Faith" book on Hannah: 1) She continued her spiritual routine despite how she felt. 2) She didn't let a man's imperfections get in the way of her worship to Jehovah. Jehovah sees the whole picture.
I hope that encourages you all to keep going and keep up your spiritual routines. Love you all ππ
If you are a rugby fan and know the All Blacks, you might know the name Dan Carter. This is his sister's story. Pity he can't speak up about it instead of being silent
I don't know where else to ask this. How do you guys deal/cope when most of your congregation are all about the vaccine and they constantly talk about the vaccine at field service groups and elders continue the conversation instead of stopping it. I get frustrated and end up either not going to certain groups or leave and it puts a damper on my ministry. There's certain days I don't want to join the group because certain people can't stop talking about the vaccine and it should be forced blah bl... moreI don't know where else to ask this. Rather do it on my own

Hi sis, if I were you just calmly and respectfully say, can we please not discuss the vaccine as the GB have advised thank you, if that doesnβt work then make a private complaint to your group elder and say that if it continues you will have no choice but to report it to the C/O xx
Anyone who starts critising you about choosing to not have the vaccine, or treats you like your a horrible person, share this scripture. What we choose to decide and what we choose to put in our bodies is no one else's business and Jehovah says so π It's 1 Thessalonians 4:11
