The article said these prophets were the clergy of Christendom, but how could that be? In the following scriptures we start to see the true identity of these false prophets, they were purchased making them of a slave class, they have wounds which they received in the house of their friends some translations say intense lovers which show they have a unique closeness. Jesus will give strokes to the faithful and discreet slave who beat their fellow slaves upon Jesus unexpected arrival, this is referring to no other than those professing to be the anointed slaves of Christ, they will not wear an official coat of hair to deceive which rightly belongs to the priestly class.
This also shows that there will be scattering again this time resulting in two parts being cut off and perishing, with a third part being refined through the fire. Once again they blame Christendom for a prophesy which applies to themselves.
